Absolutely. For piano and guitar lessons, we offer varying modules that can help you understand the intricacies of music theory and read the notes on your sheet.

At Academy of Music, we understand that unexpected events can arise. As long as you notify your teacher 24 hours in advance, a make-up lesson will be given. We offer a maximum of 3 make-up lessons per year.

This is a personal choice, but it can be tough to decide with so many options available! It’s a good idea to consider what kinds of music you like so that you can emulate your preferred genre using your instrument of choice. When you’re passionate about what you create, you’ll find it easier to absorb the material of the lessons. Pick an instrument that inspires you the most.

Yes! Learning online means that you can study music in the safest way possible. There are many advantages to online music lessons, the main one being that they are extremely convenient. You can practice immediately following the lesson instead of having to wait until you drive home. By using your computer, you can record lessons for easy playback at a future date. If your parents or siblings used to drive you to the studio, they will enjoy the fact that they won’t need to anymore.

We teach a variety of lesson plans that will cater to any skill level. Depending on your goals, we adjust our curriculum to match your desired outcome. Music is enjoyable at all ages! From young children to seniors, our instructors are adept at teaching all ages and levels of students.

Our music lessons correspond to the school calendar. They begin during the week of Labour Day (First Monday in September) and conclude at the end of June. We also offer summer music lessons on a limited basis.
